Sant Clause Is Coming To Town

Good Morming all!
It's Wednesday & some of you will be expecting to see a Dude Time Doodles card!
I'm afraid it's a week off for the Dude's & Dudette's
so, I have another card to share with you instead!

The image is from The Crafty Pad Designs,
I used a red A6 card blank for the base.
To that I added a matt of red card which was embossed using a
Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder  then matted onto a
added a matt of green textured card then added a piece of ribbon
before attaching to the base.
The layout is a sketch

The image, cute little Santa that he is, was coloured with Promarkers
I fussy cut around him then matted onto some green textured card,
then some silver mirror card.
The corners were rounded with a corner punch.
I wrapped some silver & white fibres around then attached.

I then added a little ribbon bow & some Snowflakes which were cut with
a Marianne Creatable die. The  sentiment was computer generated
then matted & layered onto the green & silver card
I hope you like him!

Flower Fairy Birthday Card

Good evening all! I hope you're all well!
I made this card for my nieces birthday & I forgot to post it to my blog!
Before it disappears in to the ether I thought I'd let you have a little look at it!
The Flower Fairy image is from a die cut decoupage sheet.
Such a lovely image & my niece is into fairies in a big way!
It was also a refreshing change not to use promarkers! lol

The fab DP was part of a lovely candy I won as was the die cut oval!
I think the layout was from my minds eye.
I only had one sheet of that paper so I know I had to make it work! lol!
The pink mat was punched along the bottom edge with a Martha Stewart border punch.

The fairy was a perfect fit for the oval & I distressed the edges with an inkpad.

The sentiment was computer generated, sorry I can't recall which font I used!
I added a homemade posh pin, a double bow & a few self adhesive pearls!
Thanks for looking, I do hope you like what you see!
Don't forget there are only a few days left to enter my Candy Draw!

Sunday 20 November 2011

Rock on!

Good morning all!
Happy Sunday to you!
It's time once again for another challenge at
The Crafty Pad!
Yay!
This week, Challenge #148 is Festive Cheer!
We want to see your projects with Red Green & Gold or Silver!
Here's my card!

I made a little rocker card!
I used the Snowman Mug image from The Crafty Pad Designs!
He's such a cheeky wee chappy & he also happens to be
on special offer  for only 59p this week!!
The base card was made by cutting a circle using the x cut shape cutting system.
I then folded it in half to make the rocker section.
I cut a smaller circle from gold mirror card & trimmed it
to make a panel which I centred on the base section.
Next I added some gold & red self adhesive ribbon from Papermania.

I coloured the image with my trusty promarkers then added some
Woodware Fluffy stuff to the hat & the froth on top of the mug!
I fussy cut round the image & then added it to a matt of the gold card which was cut with a scalloped circle nestie. This was matted onto another circle which was cut with a Nellie Snellen die.

To finish the card I added a die cut greeting & a bow made from a selection of Funky Fibres!
Thanks so much for stopping by & don't forget to head on over to
the Challenge Blog for some more inspiration from the lovely & oh so talented DT ladies!
