A Little Bit Of An Attitude!

Evening all!
I have a little card I made just for fun!
I needed a bit of light relief & thought I'd do something nice & simple!
I decided to follow the Digi's with Attitude! Sketch

Now as I was following their sketch, I thought I'd best play along with one of their images too!
Meet Bruiser

I've had him printed off for ages & never got round to colouring him up!
I've been a bit naughty & made him sit on a girly card! lol

The base card was as the sketch suggested a rectangle! I used a white A4 sheet of cardstock which I folded in half to give an A5 card. The papers I have used are from Southfield Stationers as is the light cardstock I used to mount the image & the buttons on!
I was given a few bits by them a while back to play with & the quality is superb.
I do love theses colours too!

The image was coloured with Promarkers.

The sentiment is from Sentiments 4 you I think!

The little flower gems are Papermania I think, I've had them in my stash from when I first started making cards! They just seem to last forever! lol

I'm not sure the pics are very good but I took them quickly before  left for work this morning & the light wasn't quite right! It's worse now as it's pouring with rain! lol!
Thanks for stopping by!
I will of course be entering this card in the challenge at

I'd also like to enter the following challenges

It's Not All Just Black & White..............

Good morning all!
Today is the day for the My Grafico DT ladies to post this weeks projects!

Don't forget it's a new challenge at My Grafico this week so make sure you pop over & join in!

It's ALWAY'S Anything Goes @ My Grafico! lol
Here's my card

The DT were given this lovely set to work with this week

It's the The Mod Linear Florals Collection by the very talented Cheri Wenger
I went for a monochrome card this week & I used just one of the flowers from the collection which I merged around this sentiment, from the lovely Anne @ Raindrop Echo Designs.

I printed the image out 3 times & cut out some of the flowers.
I then layered them up using pinflair glue for dimension.
I opted not to colour them this time around as I liked the effect that was created.

I used a white square card blank for the card base then I added a layer of silver mini dot holographic paper, this is from the Southfield's Bits'n'Pieces range
I then added the striped DP which was from my stash.
(I'm making lot's of effort to use up all that stash that I've had for ever!)
I wrapped a piece of ribbon around, threaded a silver charm on & knotted, before attaching to the card
The image was mounted onto black card then a layer of the holographic paper.
I used a corner die to cut out the decorative corners which I stuck on using a quickie glue pen. The glue pen is ideal for this kind of intricate shape!
Lot's of layering on this project!

To finish off I added a ribbon bow which was attached with a little heart pin!
Simples!
I hope you like it!
Do make sure you join in the Challenge, nothing could be simpler than Anything Goes!
If you have time stop by & give the other DT ladies a little love too!

I'd like to include this card in the following challenges

Oh My Gosh Is It Sunday?

Morning all!
Just stopped by to share with you my DT make for The Crafty Pad Challenges this Week!
Shame you didn't seem to like the 123 Recipe Challenge last week but you should find this one a lot easier!
This weeks Challenge #124 is Stripes! We want to see what "you" can do with stripes!
This week we are kindly sponsored by Letraset who are offering a fab set of 5 Promarkers!

A girl can never have  enough Promarkers right?
Here's my project!

It's a Tie Shaped Gift Box! I saw this on a friends blog &just  had to make one!
With Fathers Day looming, I'm sure many of you will also be thinking about what to make for your Dad!
To make this little box,I used the fab Rosette from Deborah Moore's

Debbie did a great tutorial here, on how to make a ribbon rosette, so I had a go at that too!
I don't have a hot glue gun so I did my best with high adhesion double sided tape.
It's far from perfect, I think that's because I used the tape, but I know my Dad will love it anyway! lol
As Debbie suggested, I attached a safety pin to the back & attached the rosette to the box with low tack tape. I'll be making sure my dad wears his rosette with pride on Father's day! (Tee hee)

Here's the rosette without the ribbon rosette on top!

I coloured the rosette with  promarkers you cant really see it in the pics but I used a darker shade on the shadowed parts of the rosette!

The striped paper I used was from the Two Peas In A set & I printed it straight onto heavy cardstock.
Now, who say's you can't add bling to a man's card/pressie?
I made a "tie pin" using a silver peel off border strip & added a few gems!

Inside the box is empty for now but shhhhh, I'm going to add a Toblerone
(One of my Dad's favourite's) & a voucher for afternoon tea for two at a nice venue!
You can find the template & the fab tutorial for the Tie Shaped Gift Box here.
